Since launching in 2013, Gather has been through many exciting changes, but our mission — to make planning life’s special events a seamless and fun experience for everyone involved — has remained the same.
From the beginning, Alex, Tom and I believed that a strong focus on company culture — not just snacks, dogs in the office, and unlimited iced coffee on tap (though these are all great things!) but a focus on staying true to our values, collectively working towards our mission, encouraging professional development, and making Gather an enjoyable place to call home — would drive our company forward.
That’s why we’re so thrilled to announce that Gather has recently been awarded as one of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution‘s Top Workplaces 2017!

More than 2,500 companies were nominated or approached about the contest, run by the AJC in partnership with Workplace Dynamics — 275 metro companies were surveyed, with nearly 60,000 metro Atlanta employees in total participating. You can check out Gather’s writeup here.
This award is particularly gratifying for the three of us — we’re honored and excited! It’s a testament to the amazing group of empathetic, resourceful and driven folks we’ve brought together, and it’s a reflection of our entire team’s efforts to make Gather a fun and rewarding place to work.
