Team Gather is growing! Meet Taylor
Team Gather is growing! We’re so excited to welcome Taylor Pershing to the team. Taylor will focus on our customer experience, working directly with our awesome community of customers to ensure they’re reaching their events goals.
I asked Taylor to share a little about herself…
- My dog is a basset hound/golden retriever mix named Rigby Reardon. He’s named after Steve Martin’s character in Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid. I plan on naming all of my animals after Steve Martin related things, because I am awesome. Next up: Banjo.
- I’m the great-great-great granddaughter of General John J. “Blackjack” Pershing, who led the Allied Forces in WWI. I think this is pretty cool. It’s like being related to Washington or Eisenhower, except no one knows who Pershing is anymore. So…not like it at all.
- My go-to karaoke song is Faith, by George Michael.
- I’m a native ITP Atlantan. Once, I met Andre 3000 at a car dealership and then ran into him at the movies like five days later. He recognized me, which means that I can die happy.
- I lived in Scotland for a little over two years. No, I can’t do the accent.
Favorite Restaurant: The Porter Beer Bar (ATL)
Best Meal of 2013/2014: A disgustingly greasy quesadilla from a place called the Taco Shop in Tucson, Arizona. I probably clogged up an artery or two, but it was so, so worth it.
Interests outside of work: Thinking up Halloween costumes, no matter what time of year. Watching an inexcusable amount of 30 Rock/Bob’s Burgers/Archer/Arrested Development. Floating in large bodies of water. Reading. Drinking. Eating. L-I-V-I-N.
